St. James Community Soup Kitchen

Saint James Community Soup Kitchen has provided food and fellowship to  Titusville area residents for over ten years, thanks to the generous support of  many individuals and organizations. During this time, our ministry to the community has grown, as has our pool of volunteers who represent many of the churches in our area. The purpose of this letter is to acquaint  church leaders with the programs we offer, so that we may better serve those in need in the Titusville area.

St. James House

The YWCA St. James House is an emergency shelter for women and children who are homeless. Eligible individuals and families can stay at St. James House for up to 90 days, giving them an opportunity to find transitional or permanent housing, jobs, child care, and other support services.

Vitality Task Force

A Vitality Task Force has been organized to spearhead the New People Project that our church began as way to further develop St. James Church as a welcoming, long-term presence in the communities of the Titusville area. 
The Task Force has been meeting and has developed an action plan that consists of a number of planned small and large group activities designed to support a culture of invitation within the congregation.  The three major action steps that the Task Force has identified include Member-Guest Activities, Outreach into the Community, and Vicar Networking Opportunities
